Whatever marketing strategy Microsoft have planned for Windows Vista throughout February it had better be a good one.
It seems that the mainstream computer press isn't particularly impressed, or at least it seems that way when you read the tag lines on their covers.
Everywhere you look you see headlines like "Vista: do you really need it?" but the one that caught my eye yesterday was the front cover of Micro Mart and I just had to take a quick snap:
I don't know about you, but if I was thinking about upgrading to Windows Vista and saw this it would cause me to run in the opposite direction without even needing to open the magazine and actually read the feature to see what they actually say about it.
All I can advise is, if you are thinking about upgrading just get as many points of view from as many different places as you can. Ignore the sensationalist headlines and dig in to the facts. Vista may not be for you yet but at least you will have made an informed decision.
